Elders Financial Planning (EFP) has announced its adviser services coordinator Anna Van-Gasteren has been appointed as the group’s new national practice development coach.

Van-Gasteren, who joined EFP just under a year ago, has held previous roles as a senior paraplanner at BT Financial Group and associate adviser at 360 Private Wealth.

EFP general manager Tony Beaven welcomed Van-Gasteren’s appointment and said her extensive experience would complement her new role.

“Anna has been a revelation to the business since starting and will enhance the current support structures in place across EFP with her extensive financial planning, practice management and paraplanning knowledge,” Beaven said.

“Technological, regulatory and legislative changes demand that dealer groups need to continuously adapt and disrupt in order to keep pace with an ever-changing environment and the appointment of Miss Van-Gasteren will help us achieve this.”

Commenting on her promotion, Van-Gasteren said she was enthusiastic and eager to provide support to the EFP adviser network through her new role.

“I am very excited for the opportunity to be part of the EFP distribution team and look forward to continuously working with our adviser network and their staff to provide support and ongoing coaching where required,” she said.

Beaven also said more announcements were to come in relation to the group’s focus on supporting its existing adviser network.
