Findex Group has announced a partnership with US work management firm iManage to provide cloud-based document management solutions that will allow advisers to access and collaborate on client documents regardless of their location.

The new cloud technology would be rolled out to 3000 staff within the group’s 120 offices across Australia and New Zealand over the next six months, according to a statement released last week.

Commenting on the deal, Findex head of digital Scott Douglas said the group was passionate about ensuring clients were provided with the best expertise.

“iManage Cloud meets our requirements, both from an architecture and user experience perspective,” he said.

“Not only do we need quick user adoption by our geographically dispersed staff, we also require simplified change management and a solution that can scale to accommodate our rapid growth.”

He added that he was confident the new technology would help Findex advisers effectively deliver comprehensive services across the full spectrum of financial advice.

iManage chief marketing officer Dan Carmel said financial services firms such as Findex were increasingly realising that their success was dependent on effective management of client information.

“With their shift to iManage Cloud, Findex will gain a powerful solution for collaboration and document and email management, delivered in a secure cloud,” he said.

“iManage’s market leading functionality will provide new ways for Findex professionals to deliver value to their clients.”

The range of technology delivered by iManage includes enabling advisers to work remotely and via mobile devices, sharing collaborative documents with clients and protecting the firm’s documents and intellectual property from security threats.
