Fund and platform services provider OneVue has appointed a former senior executive at fund manager Neuberger Berman as its new head of client services.
Angela Tonkin, who will join the firm’s Melbourne office, brings over 17 years of experience in the financial services industry to her new role, having most recently served as vice president of sales, client support and marketing at Neuberger Berman, as well as client services manager at Hastings Fund Management.
The company, which currently holds $420 billion in funds under administration, said the appointment would build on its capability within its fund services division, which had experienced steady growth in contracted transactions and a rise in the number of clients outsourcing their administrative tasks and call centre functions.
OneVue head of fund services Richard Harris-Smith said the firm was delighted to welcome Tonkin to the client services team.
“As we progressively realise our significant business pipeline over the next 12 to 18 months, it is important that we structure ourselves to prepare for this growth and not only maintain but increase the service levels for both our existing and future clients,” Harris-Smith said.
“OneVue is recognised in the market for our service delivery and we are taking steps to ensure that as we grow this will not be compromised.”
Tonkin’s new role follows on from the appointment last month of former Vanguard executive Chris Aylen as OneVue’s new head of fund services operations.
