Pathway has partnered with SuiteBox to extend its Xplan Model Office service, allowing adviser access to a digital forum to conduct online video meetings and sign documents with clients.

Advisers will be able to hold video meetings at any time from an internet enabled device, review and discuss documentation and use digital signatures to complete transactions.

Pathway head of advice development Peter Boston said the company was always on the lookout to make life easier for their advisers and clients.

“With the rapid advancements in technology in our industry we see Pathway’s role to work with advisers and help them navigate and keep pace in this fast-changing environment,” Boston said.

SuiteBox chief executive Ian Dunbar said Pathway was setting an example in the digital space for advisers, with its efficiencies to be leveraged so financial advice was provided in the best possible way.

The partnership announcement follows Elders Financial Planning’s implementation of the software.

“We have over the last 15 months worked very closely with our adviser network to help us shape the future of our business with the latest technological advancements, such as SuiteBox, [content marketing service] Feedsy and face-to-face business coaching,” Elders general manager Tony Beaven said.

Pathway has helped over 1000 advisers with Xplan customisation and training to support those who want to integrate SuiteBox into Xplan or use it individually.
